Our client, a premier workers' compensation carrier is currently seeking a Senior Underwriter to join its underwriting operations at its home office. The position is responsible for underwriting individual self insured excess workers compensation accounts with an established base of independent brokers and agents; managing underwriting results within an assigned region to meet or exceed production goals; embracing a multi-disciplinary, team approach; meeting all underwriting standards.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Formal Education:
•Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a business related field

Underwriting:
•Advanced knowledge of workers’ compensation coverage.
•Advanced knowledge of risk analysis processes and underwriting guidelines.
•Advanced experience working with brokers.
