A+ rated carrier seeks a Claims Analyst for their home office in St.Louis. This position is responsible for the handling of claims assigned with potential excess exposure and the development of a relationship with the claim administration community.

Primary Responsibilities:

•Evaluate claims for potential exposure
•Coordinate with Medical Claims Manager to mitigate catastrophic cases
•Maintain an effective and current diary system to direct all assigned claims
•Recommend, establish and modify case reserves within proper authority
•Request authority to settle when a settlement opportunity is identified
•Review and authorize reimbursements
•Plan and conduct audits and visits to Third Party Administrators (TPAs) and promote best practices
•Identify potential exposure during a routine audit review
•Support growth and retention of business accounts
•30-40% travel is required
